Founded in 1986, Generator press is an alternative micropress devoted to all types of experimental writing but focused primarily on visual poetry and language poetry. It publishes an international anthology of experimental writing called Generator Magazine, which has appeared annually since 1986.

Issue 12 of Generator combines the written and spoken by offering both Microsoft Word documents and mp3 audio files of the artists’ work, enabling the reader/listener to experience the work on various levels.
