Born from Capricious Magazine, established in 2004, Capricious is now an arts foundation focused primarily on book publishing, with an emphasis on engaging intersectional, queer perspectives. As part of their publishing arm, Capricious offers the Capricious Photo Award, which provides grants to allow emerging photographers to publish their own photobooks.
