Sleight of the Tongue is a book of poetry by Donald Gardner, published by Amsterdam based publisher Boekie Woekie. The collection of poems in Sleight of the Tongue were selected because they are short. Gardner and Boekie Woekie had a vision to create a concise book of poetry, in the form of a chapbook. Some of the poems have been previously published in other larger collections. Although the poems are small, they are not terse, and still contain all of the warmth and nuance of Gardner’s longer work.
