This publication and packet tells the story of the Public Collectors project QUARANZINE: a series of 100 single sheet (double-sided) publications produced in 100 days during the earliest days of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The booklet reprints an essay that only appeared with a limited number of complete sets of QUARANZINE, as well as a short text that was written for issue #50. These writings explain the process, conceptual decisions behind the format, experiences of collaboration with contributors, and the evolution of the project. Four full color pages show the front sides of 18 different issues, as well as some photos of how QUARANZINE was distributed on the street and in alleys.
Along with this booklet, this packet includes three sample issues of QUARANZINE (randomly selected and different in every packet), a digitally printed version of the essay Toward A Self Sustaining Publishing Model, and the latest printing of Public Collectors business card. Booklet covers may be gray, yellow, or white cardstock. -Publisher
