An artist’s book as exhibition catalog published in conjunction with a retrospective of Conceptual art pioneer Douglas Huebler at the Addison Gallery of American Art in 1970. This minimalist book presents a selection of Huebler’s language-driven art, including works from Variable Piece, and Duration Piece that take the form of prompts, exercises, and correspondence with the public.
NOTE: This book is from the library of Edit DeAk, the late critic and curator who was a co-founder of the seminal artists’ periodical Art-Rite, as well as Printed Matter.
