Ostensibly, myth presents reality without employing any mechanisms of the real itself. Although myth is generally considered an archaic form, surrendering to the efficacy of analysis and empiricism which, contrary to myth, take reality as their ground, it continues to characterize the work of contemporary artists and authors.
