I’m So Lucky You Found Me: public land inside the city is a handmade book by 596 Acres and collaborator Daniel Eizirik, a Brazilian artist who spent winter 2012-13 documenting the experience of transforming Brooklyn’s acres. You can read about the process (and see some images) [“here”:http://596acres.org/news/2012/11/26/lots-of-landland-of-lots/].
Daniel Eizirik’s drawings were created through shared experiences on location at publicly owned vacant lots - those that have been transformed and those that remain sites of future transformations.
Join us for a launch on occasion of the second edition, reissued in an edition of 300 with the help from print-maker Julia Samuels and Radix Media.
I’m So Lucky You Found Me: public land inside the city features a screenprinted cover and hand-sewn binding. The publication retails for $18. A four color screenprinted poster showing vacant lots throughout Brooklyn is also available.
