NEUM by Eli Keszler Launch and Reception
We’re pleased to launch NEUM, a book of drawings, prints and diagrams from artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Eli Keszler. Join us for a reception with a special performance by Eli on solo drums on August 22nd, 6-8 PM.
NEUM was made in conjunction with his participation in the group show ‘At The Moment of Being Heard’ at the South London Gallery, currently on view. The work from Keszler featured a large scale installation occupying a 150 wide by 50 foot tall space, made up of 16 overlapped and splayed piano wire, which was activated by a mechanical system.. The book consists of over 65 drawings, sketches and diagrams of various sizes dimensions and medias as well as 3 silk screened inserts. NEUM is printed in a limited hand numbered edition of 100 copies, and retails for $20, available through Printed Matter.
