Peradam launches their newest publication Juwelia: Paintings, a near-complete overview of the berlin-based artist’s work. Juwelia will be present and perform a special musical set during the event.
The publication is the first artists’ book/monograph devoted to the artist’s paintings, including 74 original works made between 2004 and 2015. The colorful work is arranged by series, including self portraits, flower vases, legs, cakes, puppy dogs, landscapes from the small town of Korbach, city life in Berlin, and scenes from inside her/his gallery during her/his famous weekend performances.
“After all, the paintings aren’t supposed to pose riddles but to make you feel happy, and to transform the real world into something quite different, something new.” — Juwelia
