Printed Matter is pleased to launch THE COMPLEXITY OF STUFF, a new artists’ book by Noah Lyon. The work began as a couple staples and 32 blank pages. Through the use of acrylics, collage and the occasional sharpie Noah Lyon has transformed it into something that appears cartoonish but that would melt your brain if you tried to read it like a comic.
So please join us in the dead of winter to contemplate death and other topics such as racism, police brutality, sports, food, ninjas, end times and ice cream. Special appearances by GG Allin and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
The Complexity of Stuff is signed and numbered in an edition of 100. The book retails for $18.00 and can be purchased at the Printed Matter storefront or online here. We’ll have many titles from Lyon available at the launch.
NOAH LYON is a painter and provocateur that has a fondness for using and abusing copy machines. His ubiquitous Retard Riot zines and buttons have topped the Printed Matter bestseller list for many years. He lives and works in Brooklyn and Scandinavia.
