With this issue we have attempted to capture a snapshot of the Brooklyn comics scene in all its wildness and diversity. Part of the fun is the utter impossibility of wrangling a “Brooklyn aesthetic,” if there is such a thing! As a borough of New York City, Brooklyn is part of a cultural mosaic of international voices, in which everybody comes together as come to complain about high rents, transit delays, and online dating.
