Tracks : Vol. 2, No. 3 (Fall 1976)
Herbert George founded Tracks in 1974 as a journal of artist’s writings, often by painters or sculptors, including texts on work, text as work, and previously unpublished writings. Contemporaneous with Whitewalls and Top Stories, Tracks’ focus diverged slightly in its focus on artistic process in addition to completed work. Contributions include performance notes, drafts, and supplementary commentary by artists on their preexisting works.
This issue includes work by Richard Prince, Barbara Kruger, Rosemary Mayer, Carl Andre, Steven Low, Michael Robbins, Robert Morris, Mario Pedrosa, and others.
