Timeless is a project by the photographer Carolina Candia Antich. It proposes a transversal intersection between art and science; covering this last point in collaboration with Diego Oyarzo. In order to generate artistic mediation and scientific dissemination, the work carried out is germinated from joint questions regarding the concept of time and how these questions can be approached from photographic creation, from a poetic story that seeks to represent atmospheres and sensations of the author on reflections on accumulated scientific knowledge. The result of this proposal will be presented in a photographic exhibition curated by the author and a book designed by the photographer Claudio Albarrán that contains photographs and the development of the texts, seeking -from the editorial side- a constant fluctuation between both visions of this concept. The “Timeless” book is not made with the aim of being seen as a photobook; It is a commitment to cross knowledge, doubts and common questions from science, photography and the editorial gesture associated with the visual narrative reading that becomes part of the accumulation of responses and reflections from scientific concepts, seeking from its design an association with the ancient astronomy and science books.
